Sketch proposals for new waiting shelters developed in 2011.
The shelters were intended for passengers waiting to board boats leaving from the pontoons. The proposal was for a series of brightly coloured shelters fabricated from steel. The shelters sought to mirror the brightly coloured main street, and to mimic traditional sea side huts. Unfortunately, the shelters were never realised.
