Cala Sona
This project in the south of Mull, currently under construction, seeks to convert an underused garage into ancillary accommodation and a workshop area.
The top priority was to have a direct connection from the main house to the workshop without passing through the new living/dining/sleeping area, and at the same time to be able to go from this area to the house without passing through the workshop. This is achieved by creating a small circulation and service zone in the centre of the space.
The proposal also includes an abundance of storage/shelving space: under the stairs, all along the low wall in the living area and the staircase area, and above the shower room.
