The design included a new roof terrace and high quality interiors sympathetic to the building’s listed status. Jenny worked as Project Architect on John Street while at Ash Sakula Architects.

Gloucester Rd, London

Refurbishment in the Regency style of a Grade 1 listed apartment by John Nash. The entire interior had been removed in the 1970’s and the proposal sought to make a comfortable modern home, sympathetic to the original architecture. Jenny was project architect for this job while with Westwoods Architects.

Children’s Zoo visitor centre, London Zoo.

Knitted House

A sculpture that evolved with community participation. The Knitted House was an ‘architectural installation’ and the focus of a series of workshops to engage the wider public with architecture and help defuse some of the stereotypes of Architects and the construction industry in general. The workshops took place at the London Architecture Bienalle at Smithfields market and at The Big Draw at Somerset House. Members of the public were invited to join in and knit a part of the house and discuss thier experiences of architecture and the built environment. The workshops were a big hit, attracting crowds of people to join in. Jenny worked on this with other members of the Knit Collective.
